The 2011 CTC Open is ON SALE! We’re playing again this year on August 1st and we’ll be at the beautiful Marengo Ridge Golf Club again (we’ve been there now for the last 4 tournaments – check out their website athttp://www.marengoridgegolfclub.com/). I am pleased to report that we have again been able to receive sponsorships to lower the greens fees for everyone, so its only $25 and that gets you: golf, cart, lunch, awards dinner and swag. And remember, any proceeds from this theatre community event will be donated to Season of Concern. This is a wonderful organization and one that is important to our community.Take the BUS to the CTC Open!!! In honor of our 5th Anniversary we are offering a $5.00 bus ride to the tournament! Chicago Theatre Community 2010 Open

Please join us on July 19th at the Marengo Ridge golf course for the 4th Annual Chicago Theatre Community 2010 Open Championship.  This is your classic four person golf scramble.  Each team member tees off, the team decides on the best ball position and plays from that location, repeat until the team is in the cup.

Each team will be competing for the CTC Open Trophy – this is nothing short of the green jacket of the Chicago Theatre Community.

Oh — and there will be CASH awarded to the top placing teams, as well as prizes for the winners of the:

- Longest Drive Contests
- Closest to the Pin Contests
- Worst Drive Contest

Your registration includes: Golf, Cart, Lunch, Awards Banquet (including dinner buffet), and super hot 2010 Open SWAG.

We will also be organizing a car pool from a central location in Chicago for those of you without vehicles.  Look for info on the registration page.

New this year, we are adding a Chicago Theatre Community Golfer Directory.  This toll will allow community golfers an opportunity to find a partner for a round, advice on a good course, or to talk smack about their domination in the tournament. You can use this tool year round and you do not have to be attending the open (although we would love to have you there).

I wanted to touch base with all of you about the tournament on Monday.  We will be teeing off at 10am sharp, so please arrive at the course around 9:30 to get yourself situated.  For your pleasure, there is a driving range and putting green for warming up.

The course has rental clubs, but if you have an extra set and wanted to bring them, that would be great.  We have a few people that need clubs coming.  Please let us know at the check in table if you either need or have extra clubs.
